Azerbaijani banks to start calculating using new method from 2013

A new accounting plan in the Azerbaijani banking system and relevant recommendations will be put into use from Jan. 1, 2013, the Azerbaijani Central Bank (CBA) said.

The Central Bank is conducting a five-day workshop with the support of the international audit company Ernst & Young.

The workshop is being held for financial managers and employees of Azerbaijani commercial banks, as well as the staff of the Central Bank’s departments.
